Rosser School had a field day on Tuesday June 25th. Stations included field games, water balloons, parachute games, an obstacle course bouncy castle, sumo wrestling, and a food craft making Oreo bees/crabs. On Wednesday June 19th the Kindergartens took part in gymnastics training at the RCCC. Thanks to the volunteers who helped make this happen. It was great to see the partnership between the RCCC and Rosser School.
Rosser School went to Camp Manitou on Monday June 17th for a fun end of year field trip! Thanks to the Rosser Elementary Parent Advisory Council for sponsoring this event. The Bike Rodeo at Rosser School on June 14th was a great success! The day was filled with physical activity, safety, food and fun! The grade 3/4 class started off the day at Grosse Isle School and biked to Rosser. All students were able to ride the entire way! There were quick water and orange slice breaks along the way. There was a presentation from the South Interlake Regional Library at Rosser School on Thursday June 13th. The presentation gave information to K-4 students about their upcoming summer reading program. It was a fun presentation with an erupting volcano! On Thursday June 6th the grade 1 and 2 classroom had the chance to visit a dairy farm. They were able to learn about milk, the milking process, animal care and visit with some cows.
Classes at Rosser School have started to utilise the new outdoor classroom at Rosser School. Math games have been done using the recently delivered tables. Getting to be out in sunny weather is great!
