Changes have occurred at Rosser School. The following are a few up the improvements made over the summer: New doors on cupboards in all classrooms: New furniture in classrooms: Hallways de-cluttered and painted: Shelves and hooks were removed from the Gym/MPR: New Lockers in the MPR room: New garbage and recycling bins for the outdoor classroom and entrance way: New TV to showcase student work and school pictures:
There was a presentation from the South Interlake Regional Library at Rosser School on Thursday June 13th. The presentation gave information to K-4 students about their upcoming summer reading program. It was a fun presentation with an erupting volcano! Classes at Rosser School have started to utilise the new outdoor classroom at Rosser School. Math games have been done using the recently delivered tables. Getting to be out in sunny weather is great!
Over the last week, 40 new trees/shrubs have been planted at Rosser School. Thanks to the volunteers who have been helping to plant and water the new trees. The planting has been done to help protect against wind on our playground.
On Tuesday May 28th, 2019 Rosser School travelled to the Interlake School Division’s Art Show. The theme of the show was “Our Interlake.” Students were able to look at art created by students across the division as well as find pieces that they contributed.
Thanks to all who were involved with the Rosser Elementary Parent Advisory Council (REPAC) Glenlea Plan Fundraiser. Thanks to the many volunteers on Sunday that helped sort the plant orders. Thanks to the customers who purchased and picked up their plants. Rosser School appreciates the community support!
Rosser School had 6 participants in the Junior Kindergarten program this year. Junior Kindergarten occurred on day 4. The program wrapped up on May 3rd. The picture attached to this post shows the smiling faces of the participants.
